MOTIF No. 12

Today I tatted a "modified Abigail".  The first ring is a little bit other, than the original:
rings: 4-3-3-4   chains: 6-6. It's the same size, than the original, but nice flat.

The second ring is made only with the trefoil motif. It became a square form.

ABIGAIL- MOTIF No. 11

I am still not healthy, so just do things amusing me. I have tatted Fox's Abigail. It is a very showy motif, I like it.
For me the number of  knots wasn't exactly good, because the middle flower isn't beautiful flat. Second round was perfect.
After starching and ironing the whole thing lies properly.
I think I will take a chance with an other one.

NA ÍGY....

.....dolgozom én 12 méter magasan egy templom mennyezetén, kertitörpének öltözve. Hideg, por, magasság....és mégis irtó klassz, mert nem túl gyakran adódik ilyen alkalom. Egészen fantasztikus élmény :D

Sajnos azonban a múlt héten jól megfáztam, úgyhogy a hétvégét az ágyban töltöttem. Ugyan befejeztem a lányomnak szánt kis táskát, át is adtam, de lefotózni nem tudtam. Várnom kell még néhány napot. És a mintát is csak hétvégén tudom megmutatni, mert jelenleg nincs fényképezőgépem. De hát, ahogy a mondás tartja: ami késik, az jön.


This is my work above in the "blue skies" . Yes I wear a ski overall because it is so cold up there. That's why I caught cold, so I am ill, and in bed. Really sorry, but can't show you the little bag, only at the weekend.
Gina gave me a good idea with tatted and crocheted flowers, but at the end I made only crocheted ones, because the thread wasn't very good for tatting.
And so sorry, but now, can't show the pattern at all, because I don't have the camera at home. But coming soon I promise.

Ajándék - Gift project in progress

Pénteken lesz a lányom 12 éves. Egy horgolt kis táskát készítek neki, a mütyürjei számára.
A díszítésén még gondolkodom: hímzés, vagy hajócsipke, esetleg horgolt virágok? Ezt még kipróbálom.
A következő postban, megmutatom, hogyan kell ezt a mintát horgolni.

On friday my daughter will be 12. I make her a little crocheted bag for her staff. I would like to decorate it with some flowers ( tatted or crocheted I don't know yet).

MOTIF No. 10

Hát igen, rég jártam erre, de felcsaptam segéd-restaurátornak és a múlt hetemet egy 12 m magas állvány tetején töltöttem. Borzasztó volt, brrr...
Nekem még akkor is tériszonyom van, ha a TV-ben mutatnak valami magas helyet, most meg...:-)
Bevallom,  roppant elégedett vagyok  magammal:D


Na, azért nem hanyagoltam el a csipkekészítést sem: befejeztem a kis terítőm "szélezését", készítettem egy kör alapú mintát is - ezzel majd még kísérletezem.

Szalvéta - napkin 

I spent my last week on the top of a scaffolding in a church. It was because my husband is a picture restorer ( repairing wall paintings as frescos, oil paintings, so he is a real artist ) and last week I was his assistant. It was horrible  12 ms above. I have also acrophobia when I see something high just on TV....

Telling the truth, now, I am very proud of myself:D

Last week I also made some tatting: finished my edging, it shows well on doily and napkin. And I have made a new motif as well( No. 10 ): it can be a snowflake, but also can be  a middle of a doily, or something else... I will test some more potentials.
