Edging sample - Bordűr félkészen

I tried to make a small edging to try the corner on my new motif. This quite dark blue thread is purchased lately. It is Anchor Crochet size 10. I am not satisfied, it is not even enough. But I go straight to the end of the project, then I will make it from a nice thread as well:)

My other thing to do is making a nice princesse dress for my daughter. At the school they have an event, where she is dancing waltzer. I will show the finished dress as well.

Nemrég vettem egy új fonalat kipróbálásra. Anchor crochet 10. Nem szerettem meg igazán, az egyenetlensége nem kedvez a hajócsipkének. Sebaj, mostmár befejezem vele, amibe belekezdtem. Egy kisebb bordűrt készítek, az újonnan tervezett motívum felhasználásával.

Másik projekt, a lányom szalagavató táncruhája. Keringőhöz. Majd a végeredményt is megmutatom:)

Playing - Játszadozom

As I found the balance on my latest motif, I play with it a little bit.
The first step was to find a nice end. I made it now in two colors, so the symmetry and the two different end are very well visible. 
I prefer the blue one. What do you think? Oh, and I didn't find any good name for this motif. Any idea?

A legutóbbi mintámat most két színben készítettem el, így nagyon jól láthatóvá vált a szimmetria és a két különböző végződés. Nekem a kék tetszik jobban, simább, és a mérete is jobban illeszkedik a minta egészéhez. Mit gondoltok?

Yesterday we went to my parent's weekend house. It is in Zala county, on a really gorgeous and calm "vine hill". They call this place a vine hill, but there is no too many vineyards  any more. It is just a pretty good place to move from the crowd, and enjoy the nature. It is the season of harvests. We gathered approximately 20 kg of chestnuts, from this big tree ( 6m tall). I was 11 when my father planted this tree, so 35 years ago.

A hétvégén Zalában jártunk, a családi "birtokon". Csodás csendes hely, az elvonuláshoz és alkotáshoz hihetetlenül alkalmas.
Erről a 35 éves szelídgesztenye fáról kb. 20 kg gesztenyét gyűjtöttünk. És még maradt rajta jócskán! Kezdhetem a gesztenye főzést:)

Edging and other candies - Bordűr és egyéb nyalánkságok

Hosszú idő óta először újra elkezdtem tervezni egy csipkemintát. Az érdekelt, hogyan tudok "treff" formákat egymással szembe fordítva bordűrt létrehozni. Ez az első kísérlet eredménye. Még ráfér némi finomítás:)

After quite long time, I started to create a new edging. The basic idea was to turn "trifles"  face each other. This is the result of the first experiment:)

A héten ezt a férfi kabátujjat alkottam többek között. Ami itt egy szalagnak néz ki, az valójában három külön zsinór.

This week I made this men's winter coat  sleeve. What looks one braid, it is in fact three different "wire".

When computer doesn't work

I was here quite a long time ago, but telling the truth, without a computer it is hard to write new posts.

I had a fabulous Imac, 8 years old, and last May the video card stopped to work. It is in the second service, but they can't find a proper piece to repair.
So I think it is the end of our relationship.
To buy a new one is very expensive, but I don't want any other type of machine.

Anyway, now I could steal a little bit of time on the family one :)

My first tatting work in this year a little motif I have found on Frivol's blog.
Very cute. I modified a little bit the corner parts, the loops are just a fraction bigger, than  the original.

I made some samples to put together the motifs for doily or any other use.Of course I have some more ideas.
And I would like to try something to turn it into a chic pendant:)

Terítő - Renulek's doily

Végül elcsábultam, és elkezdtem elkészíteni Renulek terítőjét, csodás minta:)

At last I had been  attracted by Renulek's doily, so I  started to make it. First 3 rows are done:)))

Tervezés alatt - Under "construction"

Először készítek kistáskát. Régóta foglalkoztatott ez a téma,   most odáig jutottam, hogy csipkéből tervezek egyet. A technológia egyszerű, a csipkemintát kellett úgy alakítanom, hogy a mérete megfelelő legyen. Azt hiszem sikerült, biztosat persze akkor mondhatok, ha majd teljesen elkészül, a selyem belső részekkel együtt.

This is my first purse, of course made of tatted lace:) I think it will be all right....I hope!

Frivol's Flocon d'Or

Még novemberben kaptam ezt a kedves mintát ajándékba, a hozzá tartozó fém közepekkel együtt, Frivol-tól.

Most végre volt alkalmam kipróbálni.

A láncból záródó gyűrűimmel nem vagyok teljesen elégedett, de ez a kis motívum mindenképpen egy gyorsan készíthető és nagyon látványos hópehely, jövőre esetleg többet is készítek dekorációs célokkal:)

I got this fabulous motif's pattern in november, when I visited London. Of course it is a gift from Frivol.

O.K. I am not very pleased with my mock rings, but it is a very fine, and decorative motif, quite easy to make it, so next year it will go to my Christmas decorations. Maybe one year will be enough to make some more:)

Elküldtem - I have posted it

Elkészültem a pályázati anyagommal. Heroikus munka volt időre végezni mindennel, főleg, hogy az egyik darabbal elégedetlen voltam, így még egyszer megcsináltam. Másodszorra egyébként sokkal gyorsabban ment, talán mert a tervezési fázist már nem kellett ismételni.
Elküldtem, talán holnap már meg is érkezik, és novemberben megyek utána Londonba:)

I have finished  my "Prize work", I sent it to London, and in november I will follow my "goods". Now I happily dance - o.k. only  in my brain, but it is definitely a very happy dance:)))

Elkészült... - Finished...

... a hajócsipke nyaklánc alapja; egy meglehetősen hosszú, és  3 cm széles tekervényes csipkeszalag. Afféle hiperbolikus hajócsipke.
Varrni és díszíteni kell még, hogy teljesen befejezettnek lehessen nyilvánítani.

Hajócsipke kereszt - Tatted cross

Régóta tervezgettem egy hajócsipke kereszt készítését, de az eddig látottaknál kicsit archaikusabbat szerettem volna, így született meg ez a minta, amelyben  látok némi barokkos hangulatot.

Bársony alap, arany keret..... és kész is van :)))

I designed this tatted cross yesterday. I love its baroque mood. I will put it on a velvet paper, and in a gold  frame. 

Ready to hang :)))

nyakék. Csak most kicsit másként. Kicsit romantikusan, afféle reneszánsz formával, és az elmaradhatatlan  csipkével:)

Még több képeslap - More cards

Előbb utóbb minden képeslap szemétbe, jobb esetben dobozba kerül. A csipkés képeslapjaim kapcsán jutott eszembe, hogy jobb lenne egy multifunkciós lapot készíteni, ami egy kicsit ajándék is, az ünnep után pedig nem eldobni, hanem használni lehet.

Így találtam ki a medál és függő hópehely lapokat. Jópárat már fel is töltöttem a polcomra.

It is a shame, when we throw away the postcards after the holiday. That's why I made some two in one Christmas cards, which are also pendants and earrings. they are in my shop already.

A kezdet - The beginning

Új mintát tervezek. Ez a kezdet, de nem vagyok még teljesen elégedett, egy kicsit levegősebbet szeretnék. No meg ki kell okoskodni, hogy hol kapcsolódjanak egymással a részletek, hogy arányosabb legyen.


I would like to create a new edging. This is the first step. It isn't  exactley what I want, but I will modify it to be perfect:)
