Doily pattern remake - Terítőcske minta javítása

O.K. I went further with the doily pattern, but the diagram was also confusing at some points, so I tried to make as I thought it was good.
After some repeats, I decided to make it from Lizbeth size 20, as I like it.

So I made it with short gaps, and the middle contains 12 repeats, not only 10.
It is nice, solid, and the rhythm is gorgeous. I left the decorating picots, like that it is easier to create the right shape.

I learnt, that the original outer row is too loose for the 12 middle repeats, so I modified a little bit the outer row as well, and now the pattern is perfect:)

Sok-sok próbálkozás, levágás és újrakezdés után, végűl sikerült egy jó kis poháralátét méretű mini terítőt készíteni a neten talált minta alapján.
A nehézséget a szöveges magyarázat hiánya mellett az jelentette, hogy a rajz sem volt túl pontos.
Ráadásul, nekem jobban tetszett a szorosabb csomózás által mutatott kép, szóval végül is szorosan, 12 ismétléssel készült el a közép.
A külső kör is több próbálkozás után lett tökéletes, hiszen az eredeti minta külső köre, a lazább 10 imétléshez illeszkedett.
Amikor megszületett a végleges forma, 20-as Lizbeth fonalból készítettem egy teljes terítőcskét, ezúttal azonban lehagytam a díszítő pikókat, így könnyebb volt követni a formát.

Legközelebb, díszítő pikókkal együtt is elkészítem:)

Try to make a doily - Terítő kísérlet

I had a little bit of time, so I tried to make a doily. I found the pattern on pinterest. I can follow the pattern, but the instructions are in russian, so I have to find out the small finesses.
The pattern sais 10 repeats, but at the first try it didn't work very well.
So afterwards I left a little bit longer gaps between the rings in the edge row. It worked. Now I can go to the second row of the doily.

Kipróbáltam egy orosz nyelvű mintát a Pinterestről, és mivel már a cirill betűket sem ismerem fel, a rajzra kellett hagyatkoznom. Így az instrukciók nélkül,  akadnak kisebb gigszerek. A kis terítő belső körét 10 ismétlés teszi ki, de első próbálkozásra túl szorosra húztam az egységek közötti távolságot. Még egyszer nekifogtam, egy kicsit nagyobb réssel ezúttal, így már működött. Jöhet a következő kör.

Edging sample - Bordűr félkészen

I tried to make a small edging to try the corner on my new motif. This quite dark blue thread is purchased lately. It is Anchor Crochet size 10. I am not satisfied, it is not even enough. But I go straight to the end of the project, then I will make it from a nice thread as well:)

My other thing to do is making a nice princesse dress for my daughter. At the school they have an event, where she is dancing waltzer. I will show the finished dress as well.

Nemrég vettem egy új fonalat kipróbálásra. Anchor crochet 10. Nem szerettem meg igazán, az egyenetlensége nem kedvez a hajócsipkének. Sebaj, mostmár befejezem vele, amibe belekezdtem. Egy kisebb bordűrt készítek, az újonnan tervezett motívum felhasználásával.

Másik projekt, a lányom szalagavató táncruhája. Keringőhöz. Majd a végeredményt is megmutatom:)

Corner - Sarok

A hétvégén megpróbáltam valami elfogadható sarok motívumot elővarázsolni a legutóbb tervezett mintámhoz. Hát az első csúfos kudarc lett.
A második már elég jól működőnek látszik, de azért kell egy próbát tennem  egy nagyobb darabon is.

At the weekend I tried to make some useful corner for my new edging, but the first one is a complete mess.
The second one looks quite O.K., but I have to make a bigger sample piece.
Anyway, thanks for the name suggestions, I like so much muscaan's "Elegant Peaks" and madtatter80's "Reflections" ideas.
What is about "Reflected Peaks" ? Does it sound well?

Playing - Játszadozom

As I found the balance on my latest motif, I play with it a little bit.
The first step was to find a nice end. I made it now in two colors, so the symmetry and the two different end are very well visible. 
I prefer the blue one. What do you think? Oh, and I didn't find any good name for this motif. Any idea?

A legutóbbi mintámat most két színben készítettem el, így nagyon jól láthatóvá vált a szimmetria és a két különböző végződés. Nekem a kék tetszik jobban, simább, és a mérete is jobban illeszkedik a minta egészéhez. Mit gondoltok?

Yesterday we went to my parent's weekend house. It is in Zala county, on a really gorgeous and calm "vine hill". They call this place a vine hill, but there is no too many vineyards  any more. It is just a pretty good place to move from the crowd, and enjoy the nature. It is the season of harvests. We gathered approximately 20 kg of chestnuts, from this big tree ( 6m tall). I was 11 when my father planted this tree, so 35 years ago.

A hétvégén Zalában jártunk, a családi "birtokon". Csodás csendes hely, az elvonuláshoz és alkotáshoz hihetetlenül alkalmas.
Erről a 35 éves szelídgesztenye fáról kb. 20 kg gesztenyét gyűjtöttünk. És még maradt rajta jócskán! Kezdhetem a gesztenye főzést:)

Second run - Második nekifutásra

Egészen elégedett vagyok az arányokkal, most kezdődhet a játék:)

I am quite satisfied with the balance of this motif, now I can start to play with it:)

Edging and other candies - Bordűr és egyéb nyalánkságok

Hosszú idő óta először újra elkezdtem tervezni egy csipkemintát. Az érdekelt, hogyan tudok "treff" formákat egymással szembe fordítva bordűrt létrehozni. Ez az első kísérlet eredménye. Még ráfér némi finomítás:)

After quite long time, I started to create a new edging. The basic idea was to turn "trifles"  face each other. This is the result of the first experiment:)

A héten ezt a férfi kabátujjat alkottam többek között. Ami itt egy szalagnak néz ki, az valójában három külön zsinór.

This week I made this men's winter coat  sleeve. What looks one braid, it is in fact three different "wire".

Square mood

I have made some square motifs in different threads. Lizbeth 20 - purple, Hakelgarn 20 magenta, and Lizbeth 10 red.
It is amazing how they behave differently.

I have some more ideas to do anything with this motif:)

Quad_13 second run

This time it is much better, I used beige and brown Lisbeth thread. At the middle of the side I reduced the stitch number from 10 to 5 in the rings. I found it can lie much more flat like that.
So I love this little pattern! Thank you Ninetta!

Quad_13 first run

I took a chance on Ninetta's Quad_13. As a sample experiment I used  common, Poupettes yarn in two shades of rose.

This thread is very soft, so the final result is not very beautiful, a little bit "wavy", stitches are not quite consistent.

I am not very glad with the middle part of the darker rose row, these two rings doesn't lie as I wanted.

So I will make an other one from Lisbeth thread, and might modify this section.

Little square motif

I tried several little motifs to connect  Ninetta's little square motifs. I have played a little bit: the first one is quite stressed, so on the next one  I didn't connected the middle picots.

When computer doesn't work

I was here quite a long time ago, but telling the truth, without a computer it is hard to write new posts.

I had a fabulous Imac, 8 years old, and last May the video card stopped to work. It is in the second service, but they can't find a proper piece to repair.
So I think it is the end of our relationship.
To buy a new one is very expensive, but I don't want any other type of machine.

Anyway, now I could steal a little bit of time on the family one :)

My first tatting work in this year a little motif I have found on Frivol's blog.
Very cute. I modified a little bit the corner parts, the loops are just a fraction bigger, than  the original.

I made some samples to put together the motifs for doily or any other use.Of course I have some more ideas.
And I would like to try something to turn it into a chic pendant:)

Terítő - Renulek's doily

Végül elcsábultam, és elkezdtem elkészíteni Renulek terítőjét, csodás minta:)

At last I had been  attracted by Renulek's doily, so I  started to make it. First 3 rows are done:)))

A máltai csomók igen jó lehetőséget rejtenek magukban, mert a velük alkotott daraboknak nagyon jó tartásuk van.

Egy gyűrűt készítettem, máltai csomókkal hurkolt láncból, diszítésül egy  kelta virággal.

A második próbálkozásból egy afféle kámea kerekedett, de még sok ötletem van rá, miként használható ez a kis motívum:)


I love maltese tatting, it is really nice for jewellery tatting.
I made a ring with maltese knots and celtic rose.
The cameo shaped piece is very good basic for lots of further motifs:)

Learning Maltese

Ez az első próbálkozásom a máltai csomókkal, izgalmas technika, ékszerekhez kifejezetten ajánlatos.

This is my very first trying with maltese tatting, it is a very interesting technic.

Perfect  for jewellery making.

Szürke és elefántcsont - Grey and ivory

Készítettem egy dupla virágú, "lógós" fülbevalót, világos szürke 20-as Lizbeth fonalból, felvarrhatós strasszokkal díszítettem. Szeretem a belőle áradó egyszerű eleganciát.

Elkészültem a kis táskámmal is, elég mutatós, de látom a hányosságait; a következő már tökéletes is lehet.

I have a new item in my "Sleeping beauty" collection: double floral earrings. Made of grey Lizbeth thread, size 20. Decorated with rhinestones. I love this harmony so much!

I have almost finished my lace purse bag. O.K. it is a prototype, so now I know the faults of it.
