Corner - Sarok

A hétvégén megpróbáltam valami elfogadható sarok motívumot elővarázsolni a legutóbb tervezett mintámhoz. Hát az első csúfos kudarc lett.
A második már elég jól működőnek látszik, de azért kell egy próbát tennem  egy nagyobb darabon is.

At the weekend I tried to make some useful corner for my new edging, but the first one is a complete mess.
The second one looks quite O.K., but I have to make a bigger sample piece.
Anyway, thanks for the name suggestions, I like so much muscaan's "Elegant Peaks" and madtatter80's "Reflections" ideas.
What is about "Reflected Peaks" ? Does it sound well?

Playing - Játszadozom

As I found the balance on my latest motif, I play with it a little bit.
The first step was to find a nice end. I made it now in two colors, so the symmetry and the two different end are very well visible. 
I prefer the blue one. What do you think? Oh, and I didn't find any good name for this motif. Any idea?

A legutóbbi mintámat most két színben készítettem el, így nagyon jól láthatóvá vált a szimmetria és a két különböző végződés. Nekem a kék tetszik jobban, simább, és a mérete is jobban illeszkedik a minta egészéhez. Mit gondoltok?

Yesterday we went to my parent's weekend house. It is in Zala county, on a really gorgeous and calm "vine hill". They call this place a vine hill, but there is no too many vineyards  any more. It is just a pretty good place to move from the crowd, and enjoy the nature. It is the season of harvests. We gathered approximately 20 kg of chestnuts, from this big tree ( 6m tall). I was 11 when my father planted this tree, so 35 years ago.

A hétvégén Zalában jártunk, a családi "birtokon". Csodás csendes hely, az elvonuláshoz és alkotáshoz hihetetlenül alkalmas.
Erről a 35 éves szelídgesztenye fáról kb. 20 kg gesztenyét gyűjtöttünk. És még maradt rajta jócskán! Kezdhetem a gesztenye főzést:)

Second run - Második nekifutásra

Egészen elégedett vagyok az arányokkal, most kezdődhet a játék:)

I am quite satisfied with the balance of this motif, now I can start to play with it:)

Square mood

I have made some square motifs in different threads. Lizbeth 20 - purple, Hakelgarn 20 magenta, and Lizbeth 10 red.
It is amazing how they behave differently.

I have some more ideas to do anything with this motif:)

Quad_13 second run

This time it is much better, I used beige and brown Lisbeth thread. At the middle of the side I reduced the stitch number from 10 to 5 in the rings. I found it can lie much more flat like that.
So I love this little pattern! Thank you Ninetta!

Quad_13 first run

I took a chance on Ninetta's Quad_13. As a sample experiment I used  common, Poupettes yarn in two shades of rose.

This thread is very soft, so the final result is not very beautiful, a little bit "wavy", stitches are not quite consistent.

I am not very glad with the middle part of the darker rose row, these two rings doesn't lie as I wanted.

So I will make an other one from Lisbeth thread, and might modify this section.

When computer doesn't work

I was here quite a long time ago, but telling the truth, without a computer it is hard to write new posts.

I had a fabulous Imac, 8 years old, and last May the video card stopped to work. It is in the second service, but they can't find a proper piece to repair.
So I think it is the end of our relationship.
To buy a new one is very expensive, but I don't want any other type of machine.

Anyway, now I could steal a little bit of time on the family one :)

My first tatting work in this year a little motif I have found on Frivol's blog.
Very cute. I modified a little bit the corner parts, the loops are just a fraction bigger, than  the original.

I made some samples to put together the motifs for doily or any other use.Of course I have some more ideas.
And I would like to try something to turn it into a chic pendant:)

A legújabb "modell" - My new design

Régóta tervezgettem már egy "fityegőkkel" ellátott motívum készítését, most érett meg  az idő a cselekvésre.
Szép, csipkés, régies lett. Nagyon szeretem ezt a hangulatot.
Kitűzőnek, nyakéknek szánom.

This motif is coming from an older idea, but this was the time to make a perfect, whole item. I like its mood, the shape with these hanging pearls.
I will use it for making brooches and necklaces.

Motif No. 20

Kész - It is finished

Tegnap befejeztem a kis négyzetes "terítőt". Elégedett vagyok vele.
Beszereztem egy metál fonalat, úgy tűnik, ez végre alkalmas arra, hogy hajócsipke készüljön belőle. A képen látható kis virágot tűvel készítettem, de ez elég laza és nem szép, egyenletes. Mivel azonban jól használható hajócskával is, ezentúl majd úgy csinálom.


I have finished my little square doily. I love it. I will show you what for it is.
Yesterday I bought a metal thread, it is very good for tatting. This flower have made by needle, but I don't like it. As it works very well by shuttle, next motif will be tatted by shuttle:-)

Hajócsipke motívum - Motif No. 8.

Egy újabb minta az ajándék könyvemből. Az egyik két soros medált csipkézem körbe egy bordűr mintával.
Igazán szépen idomulnak egymáshoz. A kész darab Kb. 12-13 cm oldalú négyzet lesz. Az egésznek van egy kis barokkos hangulata. Erre az évre színes motívumokat terveztem, a tervtől most sem tértem el, mindössze nagyon világos sárga a fonalam:-)


This motif is a new one from my "present" book, it is Every woman's complete guide to tatting. There is a  medal and an edging, I made them engaged. I love its shape. It is a little doily 12x12 cm.
Looks a little bit baroque style. It is colorful, a very pale yellow:-) 

Motif No. 07.

Az első elkészített motívumom a Fox-tól nyert könyvből. Látom a szépséghibákat, a következő már sokkal jobban sikerül majd:-)


This is the first motif from the book from Fox's giveaway. I can see my mistakes, but next will be much better:-)

Negyedik próbálkozásra már sikerült szép, arányos mintát létrehozni. Előtte sok selejt keletkezett:-)
For the fourth time I have made the new motif ( modified No. 5. motif ). The other three went to the dustbin:-)

Egy újabb motívum, színes, mert ebben a 25-ös körben, csak színesek lesznek:-)
