Váratlan meglepetésként jött még egy csomag, egy kedves levél kíséretében. Fox küldött nekem kipróbálásra egy csodás szürke árnyalatos fonalat. 80-as, közepesen kemény, hajócsipkézéshez éppen megfelelően csúszik. Kitűnően alkalmas olyan csipkék elkészítésére, amelyeket felvarrunk valamely textil alapra.
The postman came and brought me some packages. I was so happy, because a very important purchase, my Lizbeth threads from the US:)
But there was a surprise too, an extremely kind gift from Fox, a beautiful, fine thread, variegated grey color, size 80.
I took a chance with it, very good for tatting, slides smoothly, and medium hard, so perfect for lace for dresses.
I love so much Mary Konior's Curds and Whey pattern, but never tried to tat it, since yesterday:)
I did not have time to tat the Lizbeths, but I am very excited to create something really nice.
Today's great challenge is my new love, the goldwork embroidery. I will show the results in my next post.
Lovely lovely colours, I admire the way you work with white cream etc but will be so interested to see how you are going to use these Lizbeth colours. Enjoy!

I know the feeling, love getting packages in the mail and what great things you received! the tatting at the bottom look very fine and can't wait to see what your are making will keep looking
