Kipróbáltam az osztott Josephine csomót. És tökéletesen bevált, pont azt az eredményt kaptam, amit vártam. Köszönöm az ötletet Diane és Frivole!!!
In the last few weeks I tatted motifs based on Josephine knots. There came comments said it is easier to make them (JKs) with the second half of knots. I have tried it.
My experiences were : yes it is easier, but it works mainly with tiny JKs. If I want to make bigger and rounder JKs, the first half is better.
And this first-second half thing gave me an idea: split Josephine knots!!!
It worked! It worked!
Have you ever seen split JKs?

Thank you Diane and Frivole!
Have you tried making the Josephine knot on the underside of the hand? It makes a very pretty finish. Make the knot there and transfer it to the top of the hand while tightening it up.
VálaszTörlésVery clever! I'll have to try that sometime!
VálaszTörlésVery cool! I shall have to give these a try!
VálaszTörlésGina, thank you.
VálaszTörlésJane, I can understand the words, but I don't understand what it means underside. I mean I can't imagine the movement. Do you know a drawing or some illustration of it? Would be useful.
Send me an email on lovetotat @ gmail.com and I will try and explain!!!!
VálaszTörlésI've never seen that technique, and I've never thought to try it... You are very clever!!
VálaszTörlésThey look really nice, and now I've got to try it, too! LOL
thanks!
Seems you have found out a new technique! Well done. They look really nice!
